CHICA-Canada, in partnership with BD (Becton Dickinson) held a series of "Road Show Seminars" in various provinces throughout the country. They started in November 2007 and continue through summer 2008. The "Road Show Seminars" were designed to educate healthcare professionals and healthcare administrators on decreasing the rate of healthcare-associated infections with the focus on Methicillin Resistant Staphylococcus Aureus (MRSA), the antibiotic-resistant superbug impacting millions of patients worldwide.
